You learn from everyone!

Small things in life, small events, small interactions, small experiences but BIG learnings!

I was on a trip last year with some friends and went to an eating joint. The table we took was dirty, while I just started to look around for someone to clean it, my friend took 2 tissue papers and cleaned it herself! I was pleasantly surprised! I learnt a lesson for life - there is nothing wrong in doing your own work or even lending a helping hand where you can! And then, as a responsible and educated citizen, you can always contribute to keeping your surroundings clean! Better than waiting or cribbing or shouting at some already busy waiter/help, just help yourself :)

While the above may seem  trivial to most people, to me it was very impacting. I am glad that I have been following this myself since then.

Look around, you will see a lot, just seek and learn!

  1. i had been to vapi last weekend to meet one of my relative who has setup up a chemical industry. I was really awed by what he has created, a small scale industry which clocks awesome revenues. What came as a suprise as well as lesson was that this Uncle of mine was not an engineer yet he went to design and commission the entire factory. HOw many times have we come across a situation where we cite reasons for not able to do things? It was a big lesson to me, that nothing is impossible if you have the will to take up the task.

After this tour, my uncle showed me another chemical industry, whose owner was a richshaw driver at one time. Supposedly this guy, saved money and started with a small product and now, he is one of the biggest industrialist in that area. :) awesome right?
