ISB Road Trip to Bharatpur – Part 1

We all know how innovative and gregarious Harsh Kataruka can get in his comments on Facebook.   He has displayed similar traits in working with Dhruv Mittal and Ashiwinideep Godhara to churn out Bharatpur as a location for an enjoyable ISB expedition.    Harsh has included some wonderful pictures on Facebook that indicate the very cool nature of the trip.  Bharatpur was an offbeat choice of location for a group of guys, who are looking to eat, drink, play cards, discuss thoughts on future expectations, and share random experiences regarding travails and exciting moments that make up their life.  Such discussions evoke loud laughter and talk, which does not usually fit in with the silence demanded by a location that harbors and attracts birds.
There was rich diversity in the expedition.  Apart from the couple of non-engineers, there were people that fit in to the categories of Youngest (2 years since graduation), Younger (up to 5 Years), Young (5-8 years), and Forever Young (8+ years).  This representation of diversity is not cast in stone and is open to modification with the category of youngest being extendable for any length of time desired by the individual reading through this section.
During our drive, there were some interesting discussions.  One person was discussed as a potential candidate to serve as secretary of a proposed Gourmet Club since he is proficient in cutting vegetables.  Another individual, an expert in investments and finance, was mentioned as a likely tutor to those who may struggle in accounting.  While these are just a couple of examples of possible contributions to the ISB campus, I am sure ISB offers each of us ample opportunity to take on roles and activities that suit our demeanor and interest.
